Highlights

  • Sekumpul, a group of tall waterfalls in a deep green valley
  • Ulun Danu Beratan, the temple on Lake Bratan in Bedugul
  • Walk the Jatiluwih rice terraces, part of Bali's UNESCO-listed subak landscape
  • Private car, local guide and your own pace all day

This full-day tour links three of North Bali’s best-known places in one easy loop from Munduk, with a private car between the stops and a local guide who knows them well.

The morning starts at Sekumpul, where several tall waterfalls pour side by side into a deep jungle valley. It’s a walk down many steps and back up again, so it’s best done early while it’s cool. Next is Ulun Danu Beratan in Bedugul, the temple on the shore of Lake Bratan with its tiered shrines reflected in the water. The afternoon ends with a walk through the Jatiluwih rice terraces, where farmers still share water through the centuries-old subak irrigation system.

Who is this tour for?

Anyone with reasonable fitness. Sekumpul involves steep steps and slippery paths; the temple and rice terraces are easy walking. Bring a sarong or wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees for the temple.
